第一單元：現在式(Present Tenses)

一、現在簡單式(Present Simple)

verb/verb+(e)s:

• He plays tennis.

do/does not + verb 

•  

 使用時機：

• 談論有關於常態性習慣或重複性動作：

I get up really early and pracrtise for an hour or so most days.

I use the Internet just about every day.

• 談論有關經常出現的狀況：
• 談論有關事實或一般概念真理：
• 給予指示或方向引導：
• 說故事過影片、書籍、戲劇： 

二、現在進行式(Present Continuous)

使用時機：

• 講有關暫時性的狀態：

I am studying really hard for my exams.

• 在說話同時正在發生的的動作或事件：

I am waiting for my friends.

• 談論有關於趨勢或不斷改變的狀態：

The Internet is making it easier for people to stay in touch with each other.

• 講到有關於比經驗上更常發生的事情，通常表示忌妒或批評，跟隨出現的字有：always, constantly, continually, forver

My mum is always saying I don't help enough! (抱怨) 

He is always visiting exciting place! (嫉妒) 

三、狀態動詞(state verb)

• 狀態動詞通常不使用進行式，因為動詞本身的意義通常表達真實的感覺而非暫時狀態。這些動詞在描述：想法、感覺、狀態、偏好、描述狀態。
